Cem Akkoc is an undergraduate student working at Stark Engineering Consulting on a part-time basis whilst fulfilling his studies at university. He is currently in the 4th year of completing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Engineering Practise at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Cem's focus is on growing his control system knowledge, bringing with him a wealth of self-taught programming skills. This has allowed him to excel in his tasks including the design, troubleshooting and reverse engineering of SCADA, OPC, data logging and PLC systems.
As an enthusiastic learner, Cem enjoys working with the Stark team, where he is able to put theory into practice. Cem faces each task thrown at him with determination, and has developed a specific interest for performance analysis and working with big data to solve problems.
Cem’s keen interest in sustainability is what originally drove him to seek out Stark Engineering Consulting when looking for his in-study internship. He believes unsustainable practices need to be tackled from the energy source up, where Stark Engineering Consulting applies its time.
