George Najarian is a Graduate Mechatronics Engineer with first class honours from Western Sydney University. He commenced his engineering career as an intern at Stark where he gained valuable experience and knowledge in Jenbacher engines, SCADA and HMI design, data preparation and analysis.
For his undergraduate thesis, George combined his knowledge and experience gained from Stark with his research and design skills acquired from university to develop a Machine Learning based fault detection and prediction system which was able so successfully detect and predict faults in Jenbacher engines before their occurrence.
Currently at Stark, George defines himself as an “all-round engineer” where he assists senior engineers in different types of projects; from hydro-generation to co-generation, from control and automation to data analysis and preparation, and from breakdown maintenance to commissioning and installation of different IIoT systems.
